Hello! And yes!!! Apparently, many of the common health practices performed today are *actually* Ayurvedic. I didn't know that either until I read Sahara Rose's book. 😝 Happy to hear you've been doing these tips.
And ooh, what kind of herbs do you use?!
And thank you - My second week at work is going great! 😊
I make a Shikakai Paste (powder & hot water) as a shampoo and an Amla Paste (powder & castor oil) as a conditioner.
I then use Brahmi Oil as a leave-in scalp treatment occasionally throughout the week!
This obviously is time-consuming as it’s all DIY so I like to commit to this routine at least once or twice a month alternating between this routine and Olaplex! Has definitely made my hair softer and thicker! 💕
Thank you so much for sharing your DIY hair care routine using Ayurvedic herbs! I'm interested in trying it out to make my hair softer and thicker~ 🥺 Also, thank you for taking the time to read and comment. 😊
Thank you for sharing these tips! I'll definitely try incorporating tongue scraping into my routine. As for the second tip—dry brushing the body—it's a bit challenging for me right now since I have to quickly shower after giving my son a bath. Sometimes he doesn't want to stay in the bath tub for too long. However, I'm already doing the third tip! Having a cup of warm water after waking up feels so refreshing.
Hi Rose! Definitely try incorporating tongue scraping into your routine!!! Let me know how it goes when I see you once I'm back in Taiwan. 😉 And I'm happy to hear you're already doing the third tip! 😊 As for the dry brushing, no worries at all~ I think what's most important is to do what's best for you, your needs, and your situation! 💖 And thank you so much for reading and commenting. 🥺
Thanks so much for sharing! And I am loving this read! I have a dry brush, but have never used it. Maybe today is the day! I do tongue scrape - I use the back of a spoon though. I wonder if an actual scraper would work better?
Hi Melissa, of course! I loved reading your post. 🫶 As for using a spoon to tongue scrape, I think it may remove some bacteria from the surface of your tongue but because a spoon isn't designed for tongue scraping, it may not effectively remove all of it! (At least, this is what I read online!) Hope that helps! And yes, definitely try out your dry brush (gently) and let me know how it goes.
I scrape my tongue once a week, thanks to my caring girlfriend :)
Aww, so happy to hear that, Denis!!! Tongue scraping is such a good habit to have. 😊
Love this article!
I’ve been doing these three tips for a while without realising they were Ayurvedic practices!
I incorporate Ayurvedic herbs into my haircare routine when I can and find it so beneficial (would totally recommend)
Hope your second week at work is a good one :)

Thanks for the tip and yesss - maybe will actually get that dry brush going today!
