Personal Story
In 2016, I was:
In a toxic situationship
Destroying my body with alcohol and drugs
And had no clue what I wanted to do with my life
Now, in 2023, I’m:
In a healthy relationship
My well-being is my top priority
And I’m doing work I find joy and meaning in
So what changed?
After moving from city to city…
Country to country…
And switching from job to job trying to find happiness, purpose, and fulfilment…
I realized happiness is an inside job. What does this mean?
One, happiness has to come from within.
Two, happiness is a skill. You can learn to be happy. It takes conscious effort. But the more you do it, the more natural it gets.
Since then, I’ve dedicated my time to learning more about happiness and applying the strategies I’ve learned.
And now?
I ghostwrite about well-being and happiness for health and wellness brands.
So why did I start The Happiness Diary?
Because I wanted to create a little space on the Internet in the hope it adds value to the world.
A space where people can learn more about what happiness is. What it isn’t. And most importantly, how to be happy.
Because I learned on my own journey that lasting happiness is being of service to the world.
